| The KARS "Reel World Theatre" & Pizza Party Tour |
|
|
|
|
As part of The KARS Empowerment, Leadership & Mentorship Collaborative, we're bringing a series of workshops and seminars to cities across the country.
Created to empower, inspire, motivate and educate, these 3hr symposiums
are designed to provide organizations, small businesses, groups and organizations
with the tools they need to: locate funding for their venture; develop
strategic partnership plans; create their own professional development
plan and apply theory into effective practice to take their business or
organization to the next level.
These interactive sessions provide attendees with the tools, tips and strategies
they need to effectively start, grow or enhance a small business or organization.
As an added resource, we're pleased to announce our KARS Mini-Grants, available for startup expenses for small businesses and organizations. (Click here for details.) These grant awards are made possible from proceeds from The Tour as a
way of providing that extra assistance to those who need it most.
Pizza Party Tour dates and locations are being finalized, so stay tuned
for more details! |

| So What Is The Pizza Party Tour? |
It is our hope that we're able to effectively "teach 1, reach 100"---basically teach each person that attends our sessions and then
have them go back, take the information that they've learned and use it
reach others--hopefully 100 (or more).
Our purpose in doing this is not to reinvent the wheel, but rather to connect
organizations within the community and highlight those resources and agencies
that are available, while at the same time providing additional tools,
resources, tips, information and education ourselves. We do this through
an overall theme of "cooperation, collaboration--not competition"--and
create activities that will facilitate open dialogue and assist in developing
partnerships and collaboratives within the community.
We do all of this in a way that's designed to not only faciitate connections
within the community, but also create a network with other cities across
the country through our KARS Groupies and online resources.
