| The KARS Learning Cohorts |
|
The KARS Learning Cohorts is a way to provide instruction, strategies,
tips and collaborative opportunities to organizations, small businesses,
individuals and nonprofits .
Our Learning Cohorts are created as a way of providing a supportive learning
environment to our clients as they apply the theory into practice and "learn
to fish" for themselves.
But first thing's first--just what is a cohort? |

At The KARS Group, LTD, our goal has always been to not only provide our clients with the information, documents, plans or proposals they were looking for (thus feeding them for a day), but also to teach them the ins and outs of the strategies and thinking behind the process so that they could then go on and do these things for themselves (in essence teaching them to fish).
Through the establishment of The KARS Institute for Learning & Collaboration, we are able to provide personal and professional development courses
on a variety of topics. Individualized learning opportunities are plentiful
under this model, but our goal is to encourage and facilitate the formation
of interactive learning groups through Learning Cohorts. |

Participating in a KARS Learning Cohort provides clients with an opportunity
to receive practical information, tips, strategies and develop plans for
their business or organization while having the added benefit of participating
in a learning community with others who are going through the same learning
experiences that they are.
All too often, entrepreneurs and organization founders find themselves
operating in a vacuum, living on an island by themselves with no one to
share their ideas with, gain encouragement from or just speak to regarding
what's going on in their journey. A large part of the learning process
is constructing knowledge based on interactions and conversations with
others. Talking over ideas, sharing strategies, brainstorming and having
an opportunity to get the support of others who are going through the same
process is an important part of this process.
As part of the KARS Learning Cohort Model clients enhance their ability
to acquire, retain and more importantly apply information through discussing and solving real-world problems and strategizing next steps based on their current situation.
