| KARS Mini Grant Awards |
As a way of providing additional support to organizations and small businesses,
The KARS Consulting Group, LTD has created $1,000 Mini Grants to be privately-funded
from proceeds from its KARS Pizza Party Tour.
A portion of the proceeds from the Tour will be allocated to create Mini
Grants that will be awarded to an applicant who has participated in the
Tour sessions.

The Award:
The KARS Mini Grant consists of one-time $1,000 cash awards to be used
for start-up or expansion of a small business or organization. Additionally,
awardees receive a free registration in The KARS Learning Cohort to assist
them in moving their venture forward. |

| Eligiblity: |
- Applicants must have attended a session of the KARS Pizza Party Tour
- Applicants do not have to have been in operation for a minimum period of time.
- The Grant Award is open to applicants who have a concept or idea that they
would like to get started and need the funds for startup purposes.
- Applicants do not have to have 501(c)3 status to apply.
- Applicants must have an organizational plan that details their concept and outlines their
use of funds, other sources of funding and projected growth.

| Application Process: |
The application process includes effective implementation of the concepts
learned as part of participation in the KARS Pizza Party Tour:
- Elevator Pitch--Applicants must submit an effective Elevator Pitch that describes their
organization or small business as per the guidelines as outlined during
the Tour sessions. The Elevator Pitch will be used to develop a list of
semi-finalists who will be invited to submit a Grant Proposal for review.
- Grant Proposal--Each applicant will submit a short grant proposal according to the guidelines
as outlined during the Tour sessions. Proposals will be evaluated based
on the effectiveness of the proposal and the proposed use of funds. Upon
review of the proposals, a list of finalists will be chosen to proceed
to the next phase in the process.
- Interview--Each finalist will be invited to participate in an on-air interview during
the KARS BlogTalkRadio Show Style and Substance to discuss their organization or business, their needs and overall plan
for growth and development. Applicants will have received coaching and
strategies for conducting effective interviews and communicating their
message during the Tour sessions and should make use of those strategies
during their scheduled interview. The interview will also provide an opportunity
for finalists to receive additional promotion of their organization or
small business. Based on the results of the interview, one recipient will
be chosen to receive the award.
- Award Announcement--Grant Awardees will be announced live during a special segment of the KARS
BlogTalkRadio Show Style and Substance. They will also be profiled on the KARS website and will receive an opportunity
to share their journey to improving and expanding their organization or
small business throughout their process of working with The KARS Consulting
Group as part of their award.

Grant Reporting Guidelines:
Each Grant Award Recipient will be required to submit updates and reports
regarding the use of funds and their progress as it relates to the plan
that they submitted for consideration. Through this process, grant award
recipients will be able to gain first-hand experience in complying with
grant accountability and reporting procedures as required by other grant
awarding agencies and funders. |

Grant Cycles:
The application process is the same for each Grant Cycle for which an award
is available. Since Grant Awards are privately-funded based on proceeds
from our KARS Pizza Party Tour, the number of grant awards available is
determined by the number of Tour sessions that are held.
Grant Review Cycles will be announced at the conclusion of Tour sessions
and as additional funds become available for distribution.
Tour attendees who sign up for the KARS email newsletter will be notified
of Grant Award availability and application procedures.
